Wish, Want, Need and Lack
These verbs are picted as follows:
Wish (a heart with an arrow coming out of it) :
Want (a heart with an open hand coming out of it) :
Need (a table looking for a missing leg) :
Necessary (the leg is necessary to the table) :
Lack (this table lacks a leg) :
WISH and WANT can often be used similarly as their meaning overlaps with each other.
